Posts of Forest Guard in the Department of Forest will be filled up by the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB). The selection methodology will consist of following stages. No interview will be conducted.
STAGE-I : Written Examination
» Scheme of Exam: Written exam will consist of Multiple Choice Type Questions. Total 100 questions will be set there with a weight-age of 100 marks. Every question will have 01 mark. Duration of written exam will be Two (02) hours. Medium of the examination will English/Hindi. Questions will be based on he topics of General Knowledge, General Hindi, General English, General Mathematics, and General Science. Toughness of the questions will be equivalent to 10th class standard.
» Merit List of Written Exam: Merit list of the eligible candidates will be prepared district-wise. Only the candidates found successful in the written test will be added to Merit List to appear in Physical Efficiency Test.
STAGE-II : Physical Tests
In this stage, candidates’ physical endurance as well as physical measurement will be tested. Candidates should have following physical standards-
» Height: 163 cms for Male, 150 cms for Female
» Chest (Normal): 79 cms for Male only
» Chest (Expansion): 05 cms minimum, for Male only
» Walk of 24 kilometers, to be completed within 4 hours (for Male)
» Walk of 14 kilometers, to be completed within 4 hours (for Female)
STAGE-III : Documents Verification/Selection
On the basis of marks obtained in written exam and the performance of physical test, the candidates will be shortlisted for the selection. However, this will be subject to the verification of documents of concern candidates.
