Age Limit: General candidates should have age between 18 – 25 years as on 01.01.2018. Relaxations or reservation shall be given as per existing rules and regulations.
Job Description: Selected candidate will be responsible for construction of formation in cutting, Embankment, tunnels & bridges, construction of building and other structures for New railway lines and sidings. He is also responsible for the maintenance of track and structures (building, bridges, tunnels and other structures) in safe and satisfactory condition.
Pay Scale: 7th CPC-Matrix-levle-8 (6th CPC-GP Rs 4800/-)
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology with not less than 65% marks in aggregate taking average of all the Semesters/Years. KRCL will be utilizing valid Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering- scores for recruitment of Assistant Engineers in the above disciplines. Only GATE-2017, 2016, 2015 scores are valid.
Selection Process: Based on the valid GATE scores candidates, shall be subjected to appear in Group Discussion, Presentation and Personal Interview .The weightage of marks on a scale of 100 are GATE score-75%, Group Discussion-5%, Presentation-5%, Personal Interview-15%. Minimum overall qualifying final mark is 60%.
