Stage – I
Written Test: The maximum time allotted for the completion of written test shall be 135 minutes. Written exam shall carry total of 100 questions having a weight-age of composite 100 marks. The questions shall be multiple choice objective type in nature, with 1 mark being awarded for each right answer and 0.25 marks being deducted for each wrong answer. Minimum passing marks shall be 35% for SC/ST category candidates and 40% for all other categories’ candidates other than SC/ST Category. The indicative scheme of the question paper shall be as follows:
- Domain/Discipline related – 50 questions
- General knowledge & General Awareness, including General Science – 20 questions
- Computer Awareness – 10 questions
- English Comprehension – 10 questions
- Hindi Comprehension – 10 questions
Stage – II
Medical Fitness Test: Candidates, shortlisted after the written test, shall further be called for the Medical Fitness Test. This is a qualifying Test in nature. All candidates placed on the final merit list or panel of wait listed, shall have to undergo and compulsorily pass the medical fitness test as prescribed by JMRC. Passing of the medical fitness test shall be mandatory for all the candidates.
