Applications are invited from the permanent residents of the State of Jammu and Kashmir, fulfilling the eligibility criteria, for the posts of Junior Assistants and Steno Typists in J&K Subordinate Judiciary. J&K High Court Vacancy Details:
- Steno Typist (Kashmir Division) – 48 posts
- Steno Typist (Jammu Division) – 30 posts
- Junior Assistant (Kashmir Division) – 134 posts
- Junior Assistant (Jammu Division) – 67 posts
A. Steno Typist
Qualification: Graduate degree or equivalent in any subjects from any recognized University. Diploma in Shorthand and typewriting, having a speed of 60 words per minute in Shorthand and 30 words per minute in typing on computer keyboard.
Scale of Pay: Rs.5200-20200 with grade pay of Rs. 2400/-
B. Junior Assistant
Qualification: Bachelor degree in any specialization from a recognized University. Six months duration’s certificate course in computer application.
Scale of Pay: Rs.5200-20200 with grade pay of Rs. 1900/-
Age Limit: General candidates should have age between 18 – 40 years as on 01.01.2017. Relaxations or reservation shall be given as per existing rules and regulations.
Selection Process: The selection shall be made as per the reservation Rules. Candidates shall have to appear in written test. No TA/DA shall be paid for the test/interview. Only candidates belonging to the concerned Division can apply.
How to Apply: Applications, against the openings of J&K High Court, duly filled up by the candidate in his/her own handwriting with recent passport size photographs and attested photocopies of the essential testimonials should reach to The Office of Concerned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Jammu and Kashmir state.
Application Fee: Fee of Rs.200/- is to be paid through demand draft in the name of Principal Secretary to Hon’ble the Chief Justice, J&K High Court drawn on any branch of Jammu & Kashmir Bank and payable at Srinagar/Jammu.
