Job Description: To perform, supervise, and coordinate professional electrical engineering works in the field and office, and to perform related works as responsible for managing minor and major works/projects, and for supervising subordinate engineering staff performing several projects. HT/ LT distribution , Electrical substation, housing area electrical maintenance, college area electrical maintenance ,Cabling, Data and telephone networking , government related liaison works, lifts, DG Sets, Energy auditing, Transformers, Electrical network maintenance of the campus, electrical support at the time of the event, metering, pumping, bore wells etc.

Age Limit: General candidates should have age not exceeding than 50 years as on the last date of application IIM Ahmedabad Recruitment 2017. Relaxations or reservation shall be given as per existing rules and regulations.
Pay Scale: Candidate should be serving in the 6th CPC – Grade Pay 5400/- or above OR drawing equivalent pay in private sector (Approx. Rs.50,000/- per month).
Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering plus Degree in Electrical Engineering OR Degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum ten years of experience in electrical engineering for degree candidates and minimum twelve years of experience for Diploma plus Degree candidates. Must have qualifications to get an electrical engineer’s licence in Gandhinagar/ Ahmedabad.
Desirable: Supervisory experience in planning, directing, coordinating, and evaluating the campus/ township electrical field related development & maintenance is highly desirable.
