Patna High Court Assistant Eligibility
Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline along with Diploma / Certificate of at least six month’s course in Computer Application.
Preferential Qualification: Preference will be given to who has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period for two years (OR) has obtained NCC ‘B’ certificate.
Age Limit: Age limit for general candidates is 18 to 37 years i.e born later than 01/01/2005 and not earlier than 02/01/1986. However, relaxation in upper age is admissible up to 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
Patna High Court Assistant Syllabus
The Preliminary Test consists of 100 Objective Type Questions with multiple choice answers. There is No negative marking for incorrect answers in the preliminary test. The Preliminary Test is of total 100 marks and the minimum qualifying marks are 40. The Main Written Test is descriptive in nature and includes two sections i.e General English and General Hindi of 60 marks and 40 marks respectively. A candidate has to obtain 40% minimum qualifying marks i.e. 24 marks and 16 marks respectively in the sections of General English and General Hindi, for being considered to get shortlisted for Interview. Duration of Prelims exam is 2 hours whereas 3 hours for Mains exam.
