High Court Calcutta Recruitment 2018 – 42 Posts Of P.A/Stenographer

Calcutta High Court Vacancy Details:
- P.A./Stenographer (Grade–C) — 42 posts
Pay Scale: Rs.7100–37600 with grade pay Rs.3600/-
Qualification: Pass in the Higher Secondary or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board and have speed in Shorthand and Type writing at 120 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. respectively.
Age Limit: minimum 18 years to maximum 32 years as on 01.01.2018. Relaxations or reservation will be admissible as per rules.
Selection Process: Candidates shall be required to undergo a test in Shorthand at the speed of 120 words per minute. The text is to be transcribed in own handwriting within 45 minutes thereafter. Qualified candidates of this stenography test shall be required to undergo a further test in Shorthand, to be followed by direct transcription of the text through the aid of a Computer at the speed of 30 w.p.m. The candidates will be given a further time of 15 minutes immediately after the completion of the dictation before they are asked to transcribe the text, for verification of the outlines.
Application Fee: Candidates belonging to Reserved categories of ST/SC have to pay an application fee of Rs.150/-. All other candidates including General categories have to pay a fee of Rs.300/-. Fee can be paid by Indian Postal Order drawn in favor of the Registrar General, High Court, Calcutta, and payable at G.P.O at Calcutta.
